Faced with significant cyber-attacks from Russia-backed threat actors, Ukraine has formed a “IT army” entrusted with specific cyber issues, which reached roughly 2 lakh Telegram members on Monday.

The ‘IT Army of Ukraine,’ as it is known, is also utilising Telegram to communicate with technology leaders in order to assist the country in fighting Russian cyber-attacks and shutting down Russian sites and operatives.
According to TechCrunch, “a call out on the channel to shut down the API for Sberbank, one of Russia’s largest banks, appears to have come into action, with the site currently unavailable.”
